Over the past few weeks, Mark Zuckerberg has been expressing positive opinions about Donald Trump and has repeatedly said that the new president will help to promote the dominance of American technology companies. In particular, he believes that Trump will help companies such as Meta to defeat competitors abroad and protect them from regulatory barriers.

At the same time, during an interview with scandalous podcaster Joe Rogan, Mark Zuckerberg called on the US government to support American companies in the fight for leadership in artificial intelligence.

"It’s getting really competitive. I think it’s easy for the government to take for granted that the US will lead on all these things, when I think it’s a very close competition and we need the help. We need them to be a force that’s helping us to do these things," stated Zuckerberg.
