BodyRecords – Ukrainian cooperative horror with a chest camera perspective

- 7 February, 06:30 PM

The spectacular shooter Bodycam, which hasn't yet been released from Steam Early Access, instantly made the bodycam perspective very popular among indie developers. So the Ukrainian studio MIROWIN(Bureau of Contacts, Boiling Steel) decided to try to create a game in this style and presented BodyRecords, an immersive cooperative horror with just such a camera.

In addition to the pseudo-documentary perspective shooting from a body camera, BodyRecords developers offer to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of horror by playing with the microphone turned on so that creatures in the game can react to your noise. Players have to work together to solve challenging puzzles that require cooperative work.

Judging by the trailer, which features the over-the-horizon radar station Duga, strange anomalies, and monsters, BodyRecords takes place in the Chornobyl exclusion zone, almost in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. universe.

BodyRecords should be released in Steam Early Access in March 2025. So far, there is no indication that the game is available in Ukrainian, but as we have said many times before, this is a normal situation for Early Access.

We would like to remind you that we have a big interview with MiroWin studio on our website about their previous projects, VR, and the use of AI in games.
