Lenovo is preparing a new laptop with a folding display
Do you remember when Lenovo showed off the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable at CES 2025, a laptop with a sliding display? Now the Chinese manufacturer is planning to release another similar device. This was told by insider Evan Blass.
According to the leak, the new product will be called ThinkBook Flip AI PC. The new model will differ from the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable with a foldable display. That is, you will be able to have one large vertical screen, or fold one screen and use the other as a tablet. Or you can use one screen and show content to your colleagues or friends on the other.
According to the leak, the ThinkBook Flip will not have many connection options. One protrusion is visible on both sides, where the USB-C/A port is likely to be located. As for the webcam, it will be in a cutout on the top screen.
By the way, these renders do not show the crease where the panels are joined, but it is very likely that it will be in the final product.
Unfortunately, we don't yet know what specifications Lenovo ThinkBook Flip will have. However, given its shape, we can assume that it will have an Intel Arrow Lake-H or Lunar Lake chip. If AMD variants are available, it will probably be equipped with a Ryzen AI 7 chip based on Strix Point.
Lenovo ThinkBook Flip will be unveiled at MWC 2025, which will be held March 3-6 in Barcelona, Spain.
