The video shows how the robot interacts with humans: in the first case, the researcher adjusts the position of the lamp using gestures, and in the second, the robot pushes a cup of water on the table toward the person to remind them to drink.
The developers believe that for a comfortable interaction with a robot, it is not enough to perform a task - it must also move "elegantly."
The team of researchers includes Yuhan Hu, Peide Huang, Muli Sivapurapu, and Jian Zhang. They found that more "live" and realistic movements "significantly improve user-robot interaction" compared to traditional "functional" movements.
