The new Apple Invites app will help you invite friends to various events and create shared photo albums and playlists. But there is a requirement

As previously reported, a separate Apple Invites app for iPhone has appeared to create custom invitations to various events. It is integrated into iCloud and combined with other compatible services of the company.

This way, iPhone users can create and customize invitations for their loved ones with information about the event (there is integration with Apple Maps, Weather, and Calendar), receive feedback, collect photos and videos from participants in a shared album, and create playlists in Apple Music.

If necessary, Apple Intelligence will help with an original background image and a description of the event at the user's request (using the Image Playground and Writing Tools functions). Of course, you can also choose a ready-made image from the service's offerings or from your own gallery and describe the event yourself.

Android users can also receive an invitation by email or link, confirm their status, or leave the event. In other words, just a link to the event is enough. You can also save it to your own calendar.

All users have a reminder of the event and notifications about plan updates.

Anyone can use Apple Invites, but only users with an iCloud+ subscription (which allows you to expand iCloud Drive, use Private Relay, Hide My Email, and more) can create an event and invite guests. Subscriptions cost from $0.99 to $59.99, depending on the amount of cloud storage.

You can download Apple Invites from the App Store, or create an event through a browser.

As a reminder, the appointment scheduling feature was also recently spotted in the beta version of WhatsApp messenger.
