The original logo was designed by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and co-founder Ilya Sutskever. This time, however, an in-house design team took over, with the intention of creating a "more organic and more human" identity for the company.
It may not be easy to tell the difference, but the updated Blossom logo has cleaner lines and more space in the center. The new OpenAI sans font that the company will use "combines geometric precision and functionality with a rounded, approachable character."
