Analysts of the largest US bank holding JPMorgan believe that the GPU manufacturer NVIDIA, whose capitalization fell by about $600 billion in one session, will benefit from the emergence of the Chinese new AI model DeepSeek.

According to MarketWatch, citing a report by JPMorgan, the increasing complexity of computing, technological innovation, and the growing popularity of applications should significantly stimulate demand for NVIDIA chips.

According to the financiers, Broadcom, Marvell Technology, and Micron Technology will also win among the chipmakers, but Intel may lose due to the negative impact on the purchase of central processing units for servers.

And DeepSeek can have a positive impact on Meta, Amazon and Alphabet. "We believe the broader Internet ecosystem should benefit from model advancements and improved cost efficiency. Lower costs should accelerate GenAI development and adoption, resulting in increased consumption," JPMorgan noted.

In turn, according to experts, electricity companies will benefit from investment programs from data center operators, and for healthcare IT companies, the acceleration of artificial intelligence adoption may be a positive factor.

At the same time, companies such as Caterpillar, which manufactures, sells and services machines, engines and power systems; Cummins, one of the world's largest manufacturers of diesel engines for tractors, buses and armored vehicles; Custom Truck One Source, a supplier of trucks and special equipment for utilities, railways and telecommunications, may suffer due to delays in infrastructure construction and a decrease in electricity consumption.

As we wrote earlier, Chinese AI startup DeepSeek has spent about $1.6 billion on training a large language model with R1 thinking capabilities, despite the fact that it was previously reported to have spent only $6 million.

Also recently, the New York-based cybersecurity company Wiz Research reported that it had discovered a huge amount of confidential data from the Chinese artificial intelligence startup DeepSeek. It was made publicly available on the Internet. Among such data were digital software keys and chats that probably recorded requests from users to the company's free AI assistant.

At the end of January 2025, DeepSeek AI assistant topped the list of free apps in the US App Store, beating ChatGPT and others.
