Kingdom Come: Deliverance II launched on Steam 1.5 times better than the previous installment
Medieval simulator Kingdom Come: Deliverance II has not only garnered extremely positive media reviews (Metacritic - 88/100, Opencritic - 97% of critics recommend the game), but also shows very good results on Steam.
On the day of release, the game was played online by more than 159 thousand players, which is more than 1.5 times better than the result of the previous part, which reached the maximum of 96 thousand players: Deliverance II, interest in the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance, the number of players in which grew to 25 thousand. Some people replayed the first part before the sequel release, others got acquainted with the game world for the first time.
The original Kingdom Come: Deliverance was released on Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in February 2018 and as of November 2024 has sold a total of 8 million copies. Judging by the first results, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II will easily surpass 10 million copies and is likely to reach even higher figures of 12-15 million copies.
