EA shows the first gameplay of the new Battlefield and invites players to private testing
Electronic Arts has introduced Battlefield Labs, a new closed testing program for future games in the Battlefield franchise. At the same time, the company demonstrated a few seconds of the upcoming game.
In the new announcement, the company says that it wants to engage the community of players to play a key role in the future of the series. Battlefield Labs will test almost everything that the developers work on, but only the best elements will be included in the final product.
Closed testing, in which participants must sign an NDA, will allow players to try out the combat system and world destruction mechanism, which, according to rumors and a 10-second video, should be pretty incredible, and to leave their feedback.
Next, the developers will focus on balance and feedback on weapons, vehicles, and gadgets, before moving on to a stage where players will test all of these elements together, checking out new modes, maps, and team games.
The initial testing will be available to several thousand invited players in North America and Europe, and will later expand to other territories. You can register on the official Electronic Arts website.
