NVIDIA RTX 3060 is still top 1 among Steam users

Valve has published hardware statistics for Steam users for January 2025. There were no dramatic changes this month.

NVIDIA remains the undisputed leader. The RTX 3060 is slowly losing ground, but still remains the most popular card among gamers. The second and third place went to RTX 4060 for laptops and PCs.

There are not many AMD Radeon graphics cards on the list. In fact, the Radeon RX 6600, RX 580, and RX 6700XT are the only discrete options that made it into the top 40. There are also several AMD GPUs on the list, but Steam does not specify which GPUs are integrated in them.

January 2025 may be one of the last "stable" months. The first RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 have already gone on sale. The RTX 5070 and RTX 5070 Ti are also due in February. The new Radeon RX 9070 is still expected in March.
