Apple to launch new iCloud feature codenamed Confetti — Bloomberg

- 3 February, 09:39 AM

Apple plans to introduce a new feature for iCloud users this week. Bloomberg insider and journalist Mark Gurman told about it in a new report by PoweOn.

According to Gurman, the new service is codenamed Confetti. It will offer users "a new way to invite people to parties, events, and meetings." The insider did not specify whether this feature will be available through a separate app or will be part of the Calendar app.

Gurman noted that the new service is associated with the iOS 18.3 update, which was released to iPhone users a week ago.

By the way, last month, 9to5Mac found a reference in the iOS 18.3 code to a possible new Apple app called Invites, which will help users organize meetings and other events. The report stated that the app would have integration with iCloud.

Today's information from Gurman confirms this, although many details remain unknown.
