Marvel's Spider-Man 2, the third game in the series from Insomniac Games, which was released exclusively for PlayStatoin 5 on October 20, 2023 and sold more than 2.5 million copies in a day, made its PC debut on Steam.
The PC version of the game received additional graphics settings, unlocked frame rates, and support for NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 3.1, and Intel XeSS. At the same time, the game has improved ray tracing quality with the ability to enable DLSS Ray Reconstruction on GeForce RTX graphics cards.
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 also supports a variety of screen formats, including ultra-wide monitors with 21:9, 32:9, and 48:9 aspect ratios. In addition, the game allows you to use three monitors simultaneously using NVIDIA Surround or AMD Eyefinity technologies.
Despite the fact that Sony has recently abandoned the mandatory PSN login for PC games, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will still have the PlayStation overlay feature, which will give access to trophies, friends list, and your own profile. Additional bonuses will also be given for authorization.
The PC version will have full support for mouse and keyboard or DualSense controllers via USB connection. In the case of gamepads, the game will feature haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
PlayStation also announced the system requirements to run Marvel's Spider-Man 2 on PC. The game will require minimum specifications, including NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT graphics cards, Intel Core i3-8100 or AMD Ryzen 3 3100 processors, at least 16 GB of RAM, and 140 GB of free disk space.
Both the standard version of the game and the Delux Edition, which includes ten costumes, additional items for the photo mode, and two additional skill points, will be available for sale. Players will also receive pre-order bonuses, although they have not been promised. This will include an additional costume for Peter, another costume for Miles, early access to the Web Grabber gadget, and three additional skill points.
