It may seem that the type of view in the iPhone SE 4 display is not a very fundamental point. However, given the way iOS interacts with Dynamic Island, it will still make a difference in the actual use. This is where the forecasts of well-known insiders and analysts differ.

Almost immediately after that, a short video appeared showing a mockup of the iPhone SE 4. Despite the fact that it is, of course, not turned on, the front side clearly shows that Dynamic Island does not provide for such a smartphone.

In response to one of 9to5Mac's posts on the matter in X, analyst Ross Young also confirmed that the notch will be "like the iPhone 14." That is, without Dynamic Island. Yang is the head of Display Supply Chain Consultants, so screens and their features are precisely his area of expertise. He has also repeatedly made accurate predictions about unannounced devices.

Thus, the question of the old notch close to the screen bezel or Dynamic Island remains unanswered among insiders. Among other things, the smartphone is expected to feature USB-C, Apple Intelligence support, 8 GB of RAM (which is the minimum for smartphones with new AI features), an A18 processor, and a 48-megapixel main camera sensor.

Another uncertainty is the Action button. In 2023, the iPhone replaced the traditional call mode switch with a new button with variable functions, which has now become the standard for the entire iPhone 16 line. However, while the iPhone SE 4 borrows most of its body features from the iPhone 14, it still had the old switch. In the above video with the layout, you can see the Action button.

At the same time, the next budget model in the lineup may change its name from iPhone SE to iPhone 16E.
