Powerbeats Pro 2 will be Apple's first headphones with a heart rate sensor, allowing users to track their heart rate in real time while exercising. It will use optical sensors with LEDs that flash more than 100 times per second to detect blood flow in the user's ear.
The headphones will have IPX4 protection, support Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), Dolby Atmos content, Qi wireless charging, and provide up to 45 hours of playback time. Thanks to the H2 chip, they are expected to integrate into Apple's ecosystem, enabling features such as one-touch pairing, Audio Sharing, automatic device switching, Find My, Siri, and others.
The headphones will be available in four colors: beige, black, purple, and orange. Powerbeats Pro 2 is likely to cost €299. The official release of the model is expected soon.
