It’s trained to control a computer in the same way a human would—it looks at the screen, and uses a…Operator is currently based on the Computer-Using Agent model, which combines GPT-4o with the ability to work with visual data and advanced logical analysis skills.
The operator "sees" the interfaces through screenshots, presses buttons, enters text, and can correct errors on his own. If the task is complicated, the agent passes control to the user.
Before important actions, such as entering passwords, Operator always asks for confirmation. It also blocks malicious requests and prohibited content.
The agent already cooperates with popular services such as DoorDash, Instacart, OpenTable, and Uber. It can order food or book tables in restaurants.
Currently, Operator is only available in the US for ChatGPT Pro subscribers for $200 per month. In the future, OpenAI plans to expand access to other categories of users, including Plus, Team, and Enterprise subscriptions, by integrating the agent into ChatGPT.
