Samsung's Unpacked 2025 presentation was not very rich in announcements, the company showed the new Galaxy S25, S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra, but neither an augmented reality headset nor a new smart ring was presented. Nevertheless, the event ended with another novelty - Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is not an entirely new device, but just another name for the Galaxy S25 Slim, which has been rumored for months. Although Samsung didn't say anything about the slimmer version of its flagship device at the presentation, the smartphone's specifications and images appeared even earlier.
In addition to the teaser at the presentation, Samsung's mobile division head TM Roh told Bloomberg that the Galaxy S25 Edge will be released in mid-2025 and will cost less than $1300.

"Our goal is to position this at pricing that is lower than the Ultra models, so it’s more accessible and has more customers," said Roh.It is possible that the new smartphone will be presented in the summer along with new folding devices Galaxy Flip 7 and Galaxy Fold 7. There is not much information about these smartphones yet, but according to rumors, the company may release a simplified version of the folding gadget.
At the same time, journalists who attended Samsung's presentation were able to see the smartphone live, but the company did not disclose any other details. Below you can see the photos taken by The Verge.
