Magnetic mounts for induction charging stations are no longer a new idea globally, but there are few smartphones that have built-in magnets for this purpose. The newly launched Samsung Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphones support the Qi2 standard, but do not have built-in magnets.
Instead, the manufacturer offers protective cases with magnetic fasteners that allow you to connect to a suitable charging station.
For example, the Galaxy S25 Ultra Clear Magnet Case is a regular transparent case with a small "ring" in the center. In the United States, the cost of pre-ordering such a case is currently $14.99 (the regular price is $29.99). Something similar was true for previous models, except from third-party manufacturers.
The company has also prepared a separate Magnetic Wireless Charger and a car version of the Magnetic Car Mount Wireless Charger. They are expected to cost $29.99 and $69.99 in the US, respectively.
Moreover, if you need to charge your smartphone, watch, and headphones at the same time, Samsung will offer a 3-in-1 Magnetic Wireless Charger for $129.99.
But, of course, the user can go beyond branded accessories. Since they require Qi2 certification, there are already many options from third-party companies. According to FoneArena, well-known accessory manufacturers such as Spigen and Otterbox have already announced the corresponding models for the Samsung Galaxy S25 line.
