The app now includes a ticketing system that operates in 40 European countries. The company reports that users can book trains, buses, and ferries, get directions to stations, check schedules, and track travel times in real time. This should reduce stress during long-distance travel, as all aspects of the route can be viewed and adjusted through one app. Moovit calls it "a first-of-its-kind solution for urban mobility platforms."
The company has entered into partnerships with carriers such as Deutsche Bahn, Trenitalia, and National Express. The innovations are available now on Android, iOS, and the web client.
By the way, we found out that the new feature works in Ukraine, but currently you can only book tickets through the Moovit web version.
