Google has announced that Gemini Extensions, which allow users to improve the interaction of the chatbot with other applications on their devices, are now available in more languages, including Ukrainian.
During the first integration of Extensions into Gemini, Google allowed users to use a chatbot to interact with applications and services such as Gmail, YouTube, and Maps. Recently, the company added support for even more services, such as Google Calendar, Tasks, Keep, Utilities, and YouTube Music.
With the new update, users will be able to use all extensions in any language supported by Gemini, including Ukrainian.
For example, users can ask the chatbot to find a recipe they've been sent in the mail and add the necessary ingredients to their Keep shopping list, or take a picture of a concert poster and ask the chatbot if there's anything on the calendar for that day.
Extensions in Ukrainian are already available in the chatbot for Android, and the update will be extended to iOS later.
At the same time, Google announced that Gemini Live will speak even more languages. The conversational chatbot received support for Ukrainian in November 2024, and now the support will be extended to all languages supported in the regular text version.
