At the Samsung Unpacked 2025 presentation, there were announcements not only from Samsung itself, which presented the new flagship smartphones Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra, but also from the company's partners, such as Google, which introduced new features for Gemini.
First of all, both companies announced that Gemini will now be the default assistant on new Samsung devices. At the same time, Google announced that its chatbot will be able to perform actions in Samsung apps, such as Samsung Calendar, Notes, Reminders, and Clock, just as it does with Extensions in Google's own apps.
Owners of new Samsung smartphones will be able to use several Extensions in one request. For example, owners of the new Galaxy S25 will be able to ask Google's chatbot to find a recipe for any dish and immediately save it either to Samsung Notes or Google Keep.
Google provides another example of the new functionality. Owners of Galaxy S25 smartphones will be able to ask the chatbot to find interesting activities nearby and immediately send them in a message to a selected contact.
In addition, you can access Google's chatbot on Galaxy S25 devices by long-pressing the side button. The chatbot will immediately be able to analyze the entire screen content and help you answer your question.
