Apple has released a pre-release version of iOS 18.3 for developers and public beta testers, and published a full list of innovations in this version of the system, MacRumors writes.
The update adds Visual Intelligence capabilities to the iPhone 16, including camera control, adding events from posters or flyers to the calendar, and the ability to identify plants and animals. The company has also improved notification summaries: it is now possible to manage settings from the lock screen, and the updated style of summaries makes them easier to distinguish thanks to italics.
The developers also fixed errors with the calculator, keyboard, and music playback in Apple Music.
iOS 18.3 RC is the final version of the software. If there are no errors in the system, the update will be released to all users in the coming days.
