Most insights indicate that the long-awaited iPhone SE upgrade will take a lot from the iPhone 14. However, an additional interesting detail has emerged that points to another possible improvement for Apple's cheapest smartphone.
Insider Evan Blass shared a blurry image of the code on his private X account, where only the markings of the iPad Air with M3 processor in 11 and 13 inches, the 11th generation iPad, and the iPhone SE 4 were highlighted. But Blass left the most interesting part for later.
Later, he also added images with silhouettes of the mentioned devices. Separately, the insider added that he resorted to color correction of the smartphone image to emphasize the Dynamic Island.
Indeed, this way you can see that the iPhone SE 4 can still get Dynamic Island, and not the old notch that was in the iPhone 14. That is, even the cheapest iPhone model will get the latest features of the iOS interface with interesting animations around the front camera and Face ID sensors.
One might think that this would make it harder to choose between the iPhone 16 and iPhone SE 4, since the smartphones will share a platform, RAM, etc. But in fact, the iPhone 16 will offer an Action button and an ultra-wide-angle camera. And the latter can really have a significant impact on the choice of a smartphone. At the same time, the SE model may not have the largest storage options as the more expensive versions.
Last week, images of iPhone SE 4 dummies also appeared. However, the angle did not show the front side, so there are no details about the notch in the display in those photos.
