The streamer Asmongold called the Mask's game in Path of Exile 2 fake, and immediately lost the check mark in X

Elon Musk reacted to this by first unsubscribing from Asmongold in X and disabling its verification mark on the social network.

"Asmon behaves like a maverick “independent”, but in reality has to ask his boss for permission before he can do anything. He is not his own man," Elon Musk wrote. 

To confirm his words, he posted a screenshot of personal messages with a YouTuber on the platform, where he talks about his employees who help publish videos on YouTube.

Most ironically, Asmongold had long been a Musk supporter and even publicly defended him against accusations of fake gaming. He justified his simple mistakes and explained that even the best players can make mistakes.

But as more and more evidence emerges in the video, he gets to the point where he can no longer defend it and just calls it like it is. The YouTuber wonders why Elon Musk has to lie about how good a player he is when he could just play for fun and get the players' approval for it.
