Insta360, a company known for its cameras that capture panoramic and 360-degree videos, has introduced a new "evolutionary" stabilizer for smartphones with a set of AI-based features - Insta360 Flow 2 Pro.
The Flow 2 Pro has enhanced Apple DockKit integration, an all-new Deep Track 4.0 tracking mode with AI-powered features such as Active Zoom Tracking and Multi-Personalized Tracking. In addition, the stabilizer has an updated built-in tripod, rechargeable battery, and selfie stick.
The Flow 2 Pro is designed specifically for the iPhone, but also works with Android devices. With a focus on Apple smartphones, the stabilizer uses Apple DockKit to provide smooth subject tracking in the iPhone's built-in camera, BlackMagic and more than 200 other apps.
Insta360 also introduced Deep Track 4.0, an AI-based tracking technology. In addition, the device supports 15x zoom when tracking moving objects with Active Zoom Tracking.
Flow 2 Pro is now able to track several people simultaneously. Thanks to artificial intelligence, the stabilizer is able to keep the entire group in the frame during various activities. In addition, the device is equipped with the Pro Framing Grid function, which uses AI to ensure that the golden ratio is used in all shots.
In addition to the new technologies, the Flow 2 Pro also features an improved design, a more robust tripod, and support for free tilt mode. The stabilizer also features 360° infinite pan tracking, which provides continuous rotation for steady tracking of objects.
Insta360 Flow 2 Pro is compatible with Dolby Vision and Apple ProRes. In addition, the stabilizer is equipped with a built-in mirror for convenient use of the rear camera of a smartphone, and has a teleprompter function. The device can be controlled using an Apple Watch or an additional smartphone.
Insta360 Flow 2 Pro is available now for $159 for the standard version and $194 for the vlogging kit.
