It seems that Google and Samsung are working closely together to create AI features that will be available on the upcoming Galaxy S25 devices. According to an insider, Gemini chatbot will be integrated with the Korean manufacturer's proprietary applications.
Gemini will be able to interact with Samsung Calendar, Samsung Notes, and Samsung Reminder. Through this integration, the chatbot will be able to create, edit, and delete events in the calendar, read information from images to create events, display events for a certain period, and set up recurring events. In addition, Gemini will allow you to create and summarize notes, search for them by titles and descriptions, and create, edit, search, and delete reminders.

— yawn (@chunvn8888) January 16, 2025Although this will not allow Gemini to perform absolutely all the functions available in these applications, it will significantly increase its usefulness. Interestingly, Google chose this approach because it already has competitors for Samsung Calendar and Samsung Notes to which it could redirect users. Instead, the company decided to partner with Samsung to give Gemini more prominence on the Korean company's devices.
By the way, according to the insider, these are not the only Gemini extensions for Samsung applications - others will appear. Most likely, these features will become available on older Samsung flagship devices with the One UI 7 update.
