Samsung has its own line of secure smartphones and tablets called XCover. It can hardly be called very popular, but the company is not going to close it yet and periodically releases new models. Almost a year ago, the Galaxy XCover7 model was released, and now the updated Samsung Galaxy XCover7 Pro is being prepared for release. There hasn't been an official announcement yet, but the first information about the smartphone's characteristics has appeared online.
According to Android Authority, Samsung Galaxy XCover7 Pro will be equipped with a mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor. Unlike the previous model, which had a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chip inside. The rest of the specifications have not yet been announced. Obviously, the smartphone will be IP68/69 protected and will meet the requirements of the MIL-STD-810H standard. A sturdy body with rubber inserts will allow the smartphone to withstand drops, sand, and dirt.
There were also rumors that the next Samsung Galaxy XCover 8 Pro is already in development, but there is no information about it yet.
