The top-of-the-line 14 Pro+ features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display, while the 14 Pro has a 6.77-inch panel. Both screens support refresh rates of up to 120 Hz and resolutions exceeding 1080p. The devices are equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner and a 32MP front camera in the Pro+, or 16MP in the Pro.
The main difference between the 14 Pro+ and 14 Pro is their chipsets: Plus is equipped with Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, while the standard version uses Dimensity 7300, which has slightly older processor cores.
One of the unique design features of smartphones is the ability to change color. The panel changes from white to blue when the temperature drops below 16°C.
The new realme devices are also distinguished by their camera system. The 14 Pro+ is equipped with a 50 MP main module with a large 1/1.56" Sony IMX896 sensor and optical image stabilizer (OIS). In addition, the telephoto lens has a periscopic design, which is rare for mid-budget devices.
The Sony IMX882 sensor used in the prismatic lens has a resolution of 50 MP. realme claims that the device is capable of 120x SuperZoom, but this includes 3x optical zoom and the rest is digital zoom.
To improve image quality, realme has implemented the Ultra Clarity 2.0 AI feature. According to the company, it minimizes noise in images at 20x magnification and demonstrates clear effects at 60x magnification.
As for the 14 Pro model, it has a 50MP main camera that uses a Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS, as well as an additional 8MP camera with an ultra-wide-angle lens.
The realme 14 Pro series is equipped with a 6000 mAh battery. It supports 80W fast charging (45W in the Pro version). realme guarantees that 80% of the battery capacity is retained even after four years of use (1600 full charge cycles). The smartphones come with the realme UI 6.0 interface based on Android 15.
realme 14 Pro and realme 14 Pro+ are already available in India for $265 and $325, respectively. The devices will be available in other countries soon.
