Among other Apple products, the cheapest iPhone model is expected to be updated this year. The iPhone SE 4 will be a radical update of this model, but not for the entire lineup.
If the mockups are correct, then potential buyers should expect a single main camera, flat sides, a classic call mode switch (not an Action button), and the familiar iPhone shape. Currently, there is a SIM card slot on the mockup, but this may also be a regional feature (current iPhone models in the US only come with eSIM support).
As a reminder, according to previous leaks, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to repeat the design of the iPhone 14, a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, a camera notch and Face ID (not Dynamic Island), a 48-megapixel main camera sensor, an Apple A18 processor, and 8 GB of RAM (which requires Apple Intelligence).
Additionally, there was information that the model could be called the iPhone 16E.
The expected price of the iPhone SE 4 is $499.
