Joy-Con controllers have received an updated design and now have a black color scheme instead of the traditional multi-colored one. The biggest change is the appearance of a new button under the Home button, the purpose of which remains unknown. In addition, the controllers are equipped with a completely new mount, which, according to the video, will allow them to be used as a mouse.
The console is also equipped with a new built-in stand that allows you to conveniently place it on a table for gaming without controllers.
The video states that Nintendo Switch 2 will be compatible with both games from the original console and new projects created specifically for the new device. However, some games from the first generation may not work on Switch 2 or have limited functionality.
The manufacturer will tell more about the new console on April 2, 2025, at the Nintendo Direct event.
