On behalf of @Smartprix 👉🏻 https://t.co/FPZnEKqNuD pic.twitter.com/HSTloqzYj7Galaxy S25 Slim will be extremely thin - only 6.4 mm. Even with the camera module, it will be only 8.3 mm thick, while some smartphones without a camera module are as thick as 8-10 mm.
For comparison, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to be about 8.2 mm thick, excluding cameras.
The Galaxy S25 Slim will have approximate dimensions of 159 x 76 x 6.4 mm, while the Galaxy S25 Ultra will measure 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2 mm. This means that the S25 Slim will be 1.6 mm narrower, 3.8 mm shorter and 1.8 mm thinner than the Ultra. The screen diagonal is expected to be between 6.7 and 6.8 inches.
The smartphone will have a triple rear camera, a metal frame, and a glass back panel. The appearance and placement of the cameras repeats the design of the S25 series. As for the bezels, they will be thin, like Galaxy S25 and S25+.
By the way, the title of Samsung's thinnest smartphone with a thickness of 5.9 mm is still held by the 2015 Galaxy A8. However, it had only a 3050 mAh battery. Galaxy S25 Slim will have a much longer battery life, but it is not yet known how much.
There will be 3 cameras on the rear panel. The main 200MP HP5 camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle JN5 camera, and a 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom.
Samsung is also expected to use the new ALoP design for the 3.5x telephoto lens, which places the lenses in front of the prism rather than behind it. This design should help the S25 Slim stay slim while maintaining its zoom.
The Galaxy S25 Slim will run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, have 12 GB of RAM and the Android 15 operating system with One UI 7 interface.
The smartphone may be shown at the Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22 along with the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, but it will go on sale in the spring.
