On February 21, the next spinoff of the Yakuza (now Like a Dragon) game series called Like a Dragon will be released: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. The game's protagonist is the one-eyed, eccentric Goro Majima, who is well known to fans of the series. Sega has published a new gameplay trailer, which demonstrates the features of the combat system and two different fighting styles of the protagonist.
This was the system used in most of the previous installments of the franchise before Yakuza: Like a Dragon. In which we decided to make turn-based battles and add RPG elements. In Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii returns to the classic combat system. The player will have access to two combat styles. The first is Mad Dog. In fact, Goro Majima was called "The Mad Dog of Shimano". The features of this style are fast and varied attacks and combos, as well as the creation of your own ghostly doubles. The second style, Sea Dog, is more characteristic of the game's theme. Goro will use sabers, pistols, a rope with a hook, and will be able to summon the inhabitants of the deep sea:
In the story, Goro lost his memory and ended up in the Hawaiian Islands, where he decided to become a pirate. It's a rather unexpected twist, but Ryu Ga Gotoku is not afraid of such experiments. Traditional mini-games for the series will also be present.
