ASUS introduces new entry-level mini-PC with support for three 4K monitors

ASUS has introduced the NUC 14 Essential, an ultra-compact entry-level mini-PC powered by the latest Intel Core N processors. The new product supports up to three 4K displays.

The ASUS NUC 14 Essential will be available with Intel N150, N250, Core 3 N355, and N97 chips. The N97 model will feature Intel UHD Graphics, while the other chips will be equipped with Intel Graphics. In addition, the device will have 16 GB of DDR5-4800 RAM and NVMe or SATA SSD storage from 128 GB to 2 TB.

For ease of use, the NUC 14 Essential has a wide range of ports on both the front and rear. The front panel features one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C, two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, and a 3.5mm jack. The rear panel contains another USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C with DisplayPort 1.4 support, two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, one USB 2.0 Type-A, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, RJ45 LAN port, and a power connector.

The ASUS NUC 14 Essential also supports Intel Wi-Fi 6E (Gig+) and Bluetooth 5.3, which ensures fast and secure data transfer. In addition, according to ASUS, this mini-PC has passed over 1000 hours of testing at 100°C and 1400 hours at 70°C.

ASUS has not yet announced the price of the new mini-PC, but says it will be an entry-level device.
