Adobe is testing project sharing in Photoshop, which allows multiple users to edit the same project at the same time.
Adobe has been working on collaborative editing features for some time now. In 2021, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Fresco received asynchronous collaborative editing and commenting features for projects.
However, the new Live Co-Editing feature will make it much easier for multiple designers to work together on the same project. Adobe also emphasizes that it will be useful for students and teachers, providing a tool for "demonstrating workflows and teaching techniques."
"Now, multiple creators can simultaneously access and edit documents from different computers — unlocking shared creativity and collaboration. This game-changing advancement, informed by community input, accelerates content creation, streamlines communication and improves creative collaboration for creators, teams and educators," Adobe writes.
