The Polish studio Rebel Wolves, headed by CD Projekt Red veterans, has presented a cinematic trailer for its first game The Blood of Dawnwalker.
The game will be set in the fictional Carpathians of the 14th century, in the Sangor Valley. The main character, Cohen, will be half-human, half-vampire, and his goal is to save his family.
The developers describe their game as a narrative sandbox, promising high variability of playthrough and a non-linear storyline.
Rebel Wolves is headed by Konrad and Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, the former development manager of The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 and the chief quest designer of these games. The new project will be published by Namco Bandai.
The studio promises to demonstrate the gameplay in the summer of 2025, but the exact release date has not yet been announced. The announced platforms include PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X.
