Samsung's relatively new wearable gadget, the Galaxy Ring, continues to expand its capabilities and increase the number of countries of operation. At the same time, new features for the smart ring are being added to the Samsung Health app.
This is stated in a press release from Samsung.
Initially, the company offered Galaxy Ring in sizes 5 to 13. Now, the gadget adds two larger sizes - 14 and 15 - for greater user comfort. The color options remain the familiar Titanium Black, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Gold.
The Samsung Health app will also have new features. Among them, you will be able to find Sleep environment report - tips on how to improve sleep conditions. With other gadgets that support the proprietary SmartThings protocol, some things can even be automated.
Sleep time guidance, based on data about the user's sleep quality and daily routine, can recommend the best time to go to bed and wake up. This advice will take into account the user's sleep patterns, habits, and sleeping conditions.
Finally, the Mindfulness tracker will allow you to improve your well-being and night's sleep by managing your mood, breathing, and stress levels. The feature will monitor your mood and suggest breathing exercises or meditation to reduce stress.
Finally, Galaxy Ring is also entering 15 new markets. These will include Cyprus, Czech Republic, Greece, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, Mauritius, New Zealand, South Africa, Singapore, Slovakia, Taiwan, Taiwan, Hungary, Israel, and Vietnam. Thus, the gadget will be available in 53 countries.
Unfortunately, there is currently no information about its official presence in Ukraine.
The new sizes of Galaxy Ring will go on sale on January 22, and the gadget will be available in stores in the mentioned countries starting February 7, 2025.
