Thanks to data leaks from various electronics certification organizations, we often get information about unannounced new products. Motorola's flagship foldable smartphone Razr 50 Ultra was officially announced in June last year. In April, it was certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).
According to 91mobiles, a new Motorola smartphone with the model number XT2551 has passed BIS certification today. Considering that the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra had the XT2451 number, it's quite logical to assume that the XT2551 number is the upcoming Motorola Razr 60 Ultra. Given the time lag between the certification and the announcement last year, we can expect the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra to be unveiled in March-April.
There is no information about the specifications yet. But we can expect improved screens, more functions for the external screen, and IPX8 water protection. If Motorola sticks to its approach to foldable smartphones of the past, it will be powered by Qualcomm's sub-flagship Snapdragon 8s Elite processor, which we wrote about yesterday.
