Xiaomi has introduced global versions of the Redmi Note 14 5G and Redmi Note 14 4G smartphones. These are almost the same smartphones that the company showed for the Indian market, but with some differences in cameras.
The 5G version of the Redmi Note 14 features a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra processor, a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display will provide 2100 nits of peak brightness, has Gorilla Glass 5 protection and a built-in fingerprint scanner.
The front also has a 20-megapixel selfie camera notch. At the back, you can find a system of three more lenses - the main 108 MP with optical stabilization and a 1/1.67-inch sensor. The 5G model also has an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro lens.
Redmi Note 14 5G is IP64 water and dust resistant and has a 3.5 mm jack. Inside, the smartphone has a 5110 mAh battery with 45W charging support. The device will run on HyperOS based on Android 14 with some AI features, such as AI Erase, AI Sky, AI Beautify, and the Gemini app.
Buyers will have a choice of several Redmi Note 14 5G models. In particular, there are three colors - black, purple, and coral green. The differences also lie in the amount of memory, where there are variants with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, 8/256 GB and 12/512 GB. The price of the device starts at $299.
The 4G version of the Redmi Note 14 has slightly worse specifications. First of all, it has a weaker MediaTek Helio G99 processor, no optical stabilization on the main camera, and a 2 MP depth lens instead of an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
Other changes include IP54 rather than IP64 protection and a lower peak screen brightness of 1800 nits. At the same time, the smartphone has one advantage - the battery capacity, which is 5500 mAh, but with support for slower charging at 33 W.
The smartphone will be available in black, purple, and lime green colors and with less memory - 6/128 GB, 8/128 GB, and 8/256 GB. The device will cost from $199.
As a reminder, Xiaomi has also released the Redmi Watch 5 with an AMOLED screen for the global market. The company also showed the Xiaomi 165W Power Bank 10000 battery and Redmi Buds 6 Pro headphones.
