ASUS Vivobook laptops were expected to receive updates at CES 2025. Like most Copilot+ PCs, they focus on performance, AI, and portability, which is complemented by long battery life.
The dimensions of these laptops are 315.2 x 223.4 x 17.9 x 19.9 and 357 x 250.6 x 17.9 x 19.9 mm, weighing 1.49 and 1.76 kg, respectively.
The new Snapdragon X (X1 26 100) chips with Adreno GPU graphics and an additional Hexagon NPU (up to 45 TOPS) for AI processing are complemented by 16 GB LPDDR5X and 512 GB or 1 TB drives.
For connecting external devices, ASUS Vivobook 14 and 16 have two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, two USB-C 4.0 Gen 3 ports, HDMI 2.1 and combined audio ports. Wireless interfaces include support for Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
The full HD webcams are equipped with infrared sensors that support Windows Hello, as well as automatic locking and unlocking when the user leaves the laptop. Both models also have larger trackpads with signature gestures for changing speaker volume and display brightness, and the Vivobook 16 also has a keyboard with a NUM pad.
Both models have 50 Wh batteries, which should last for 19.5 and 19.8 hours, respectively, depending on the display diagonal. The laptops can be charged via USB-C with a power of up to 65W.
The ASUS Vivobook 16 comes in Quiet Blue and Cool Silver colours, while the ASUS Vivobook 14 adds the Platinum Gold option. Pricing and availability in Ukraine are currently unknown.
