At CES 2025, Pocketbook presented the InkPoster digital poster that mimics the texture of paper and is equipped with a battery with a year's autonomy. Good E-Reader writes about it.
PocketBook plans to rethink wall art by replacing traditional printed images with high-quality E Ink panels. The effect of paper will be provided by a matte surface and the absence of backlighting.
InkPoster will be available in three sizes: 13.3 inches, 28.5 inches and 31.5 inches. The batteries with a capacity of 14,000 mAh to 20,000 mAh will provide up to a year of battery life. This is possible thanks to E Ink technology, which consumes power only when the screen is changing.
The 13.3-inch model has a resolution of 1600×1200p, while the 31.5-inch InkPoster has a resolution of 2560×1440p. Both models will feature an E Ink Spectra 6 panel that achieves a 30:1 contrast ratio and is capable of displaying around 60,000 colours.
The 28.5-inch InkPoster model has two key features: a higher resolution of 3060×2160p and a Sharp IGZO E Ink panel that provides faster image refresh.
Images can be managed through the InkPoster app. Bluetooth and WLAN standards are supported for connectivity.
The Pocketbook InkPoster is expected to be launched in spring 2025. The 13.3-inch model will cost $599, the 31.5-inch model will cost $1,700, and the 28.5-inch model will cost $2,400.
