Following the flagship OnePlus 13, OnePlus has also introduced a simplified version of it - OnePlus 13R. The smartphone has a new 50-megapixel telephoto camera and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The device is already available for pre-order, and its price starts at $599.
OnePlus 13R has a three-camera system. In addition to the new 50-megapixel telephoto camera with f/2.0 aperture and 47 mm focal length, the device has a 50 MP primary lens with optical stabilisation and the ability to record 4K video at 60 fps. The third camera is an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 112° capture angle. There is a 16MP selfie camera on the front.
On the front, the OnePlus 13R has a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1264 × 2780 pixels. The 10-bit panel has HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support and can produce a peak brightness of 4500 nits.
Inside, OnePlus 13R is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The chip is paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. For India, there is a separate version with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.
The smartphone also has a 6000 mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging support. It takes 52 minutes to fully charge the device from 1% to 100%.
With the release of the OnePlus 13R, it will be running OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15. The smartphone will receive 4 years of operating system updates and 6 years of security updates. Among other features, the smartphone supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC. The device is also equipped with Gorilla Glass 7i and is IP65 water and dust resistant.
