OnePlus has held a global presentation to showcase its new flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 13.
The device is equipped with a 6.82-inch BOE X2 2K+ AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 4500 nits and an adaptive frequency of 1 to 120 Hz. It is the first smartphone on the market to receive the DisplayMate A++ rating for its screen.
The new phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, supports up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and has a heat transfer area of 9925 mm² with dual steam chambers.
OnePlus 13 is available in three colours: Arctic Dawn with a glass coating, Midnight Ocean with microfibre material, and Black Eclipse, which uses a sophisticated processing technology to create an engraved glass effect.
The smartphone has a narrow middle frame with a micro-arch and retains the three-step slider for notifications on the left side. It is equipped with a new integrated antenna that improves signal reception.
On the back of OnePlus 13 are three 50-megapixel Hasselblad cameras. The main Sony LYT-808 has a focal length of 23 mm and OIS. It is complemented by a 3x periscope (LYT-600) with a focal length of 73 mm equivalent. The third camera is the Samsung S5KJN5 ultra-wide-angle camera with a 15 mm equivalent and macro function. The front camera of the smartphone is 32-megapixel.
The OnePlus 13 is IP68 and IP69-rated for dust and water resistance, and features a 6000 mAh battery. It supports 100W SuperVOOC fast charging, which allows you to charge the device up to 100% in 36 minutes, as well as 50W wireless charging and magnetic charging.
The new device comes with Android 15 operating system. The manufacturer promises that the smartphone will receive 4 years of OS updates and 6 years of security updates.
OnePlus 13 is already available in different regions. The basic version with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage costs $899 and is available only in black. If you want white or blue colours, you need to pay $999 for the 16/512GB model. In Europe, the 12/256GB version costs €999, and the 16/512GB version costs €1049.
