Exactly one year ago, in early January 2024, Honda unveiled its Honda 0 Series Saloon Concept. It seemed to hint at the future of Honda's electric vehicle development, but it seemed like a very distant future.
But now, in early January 2025, Honda has unveiled a new incarnation of this zero-emission saloon concept and has also supported the idea of developing a zero-emission series of electric vehicles with the debut of the Honda 0 SUV electric crossover concept.
The new Honda 0 SUV concept still has a rather futuristic design: a wedge-shaped body, a flat nose with pixelated headlights, an unusual U-shaped headlamp, and cameras instead of side mirrors. At the same time, the Honda 0 SUV crossover looks quite realistic - at least it has conventional doors and a conventional interior, except for the futuristic steering wheel.
In addition, there are already plans to launch the Honda 0 SUV concept into series production in the first half of 2026. Production of the Honda 0 SUV crossover will be organised at a plant in Ohio. Sales of the new Honda 0 SUV will initially start in the US market, but the possibility of exporting to the markets of Europe and Japan is being considered.
