During its presentation at CES 2025, ASUS unveiled the Zenbook A14 (UX3407), its first Zenbook powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon ARM processor. The model weighs less than 1 kg and the company calls it ‘the world's lightest Copilot+ PC laptop’. It weighs 980 grams and measures 31.07 x 21.39 x 1.34 ~ 1.59 cm.
For the first time in the Zenbook series, the chassis of this model—from the lid to the keyboard frame and bottom panel—is made from ASUS's proprietary Ceraluminum material. This patented material is a combination of aluminum and ceramic, designed to enhance durability and protect the surface from wear, scratches, and fingerprints.
The Zenbook A14 (UX3407) features a 14-inch OLED display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels, and a 60Hz refresh rate. It boasts a 0.2ms response time, a typical brightness of 400 nits, and peak brightness of 600 nits. The screen has a glossy finish and supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, VESA Display HDR True Black 600 certification, and is TÜV Rheinland certified for eye care.
The Zenbook A14 (UX3407) is powered by the Snapdragon X-series Elite X1E 78 100 processor with a clock speed of 3.4 GHz (42MB cache, 12 cores, 12 threads). It also features Adreno graphics and the Qualcomm Hexagon NPU for AI tasks, providing a performance of up to 45 TOPS. The laptop is equipped with 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD. Its cooling system consists of two fans, allowing for a higher power limit (TDP), ensuring optimal performance even during heavy use.
The Zenbook A14 (UX3407) offers a variety of connectivity options, including one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, two USB 4.0 Gen 3 Type-C ports, HDMI 2.1, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack. Above the display, it features a Full HD webcam with an infrared sensor for Windows Hello face recognition. For wireless connectivity, the laptop supports Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) and Bluetooth 5.4.
The Zenbook A14 (UX3407) is powered by a 70 Wh battery and comes with a 90W USB-C charger for efficient charging.
