The new Razer Blade 16's chassis, while visually similar to its predecessor, boasts a 30% thinner profile, measuring 14.9–17.4 mm (without the feet). The design retains the minimalist black finish with the iconic logo.

Despite the reduced size, Razer managed to increase the key travel from 1mm to 1.5mm. The slimmed-down chassis also didn't compromise the sound quality, with the addition of six speakers supporting THX Spatial Audio.

The new Razer Blade 16 features an AMD processor for the first time in this model— the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, alongside NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 GPUs. The laptop will support up to 64 GB of LPDDR5X memory running at 8000 MHz.

Additionally, the 16-inch display will feature an OLED matrix with a QHD+ resolution, a response time of 0.2 ms, and a refresh rate of 240 Hz.

It is also noted that the laptop will have a slightly smaller battery capacity compared to its predecessor, now at 90 Wh. It will be capable of charging up to 80% in just 45 minutes.

The new Razer Blade 16 is expected to be available for purchase in the US in the first quarter of 2025. The price has not yet been announced.
