Following in the footsteps of LG and Samsung, which announced their own AI solutions or integration with Copilot, Google has also introduced a set of AI features for its TVs. The company will integrate Gemini into Google TV.
So far, Google has announced a few features that are expected to improve the TV experience. For example, they will simplify media content search. Additionally, users will be able to ask questions about travel, health, space, history, and other topics directly to the TV.
Thanks to the new capabilities of Google TV, users will also be able to control all smart devices in the home and receive a daily summary of important news.
The AI-based features will begin rolling out later in 2025 for selected Google TV devices. Further details have not yet been disclosed.
