At CES 2025, ASUS's portable gaming laptops, the ROG Zephyrus G14 and G16, kept their previous design but updated their internals. These models continue to offer a variety of processor and graphics card options.
Like last year's versions, the ROG Zephyrus G14 and G16 remain great options for users seeking powerful yet lightweight laptops. The aluminum chassis in 14- and 16-inch formats weigh just 1.5 kg and 1.85 kg, respectively, which is quite light considering their performance capabilities.
Potential buyers still have the choice of processors up to the Intel Core Ultra 9 285H or AMD Ryzen AI 7 350/Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. For graphics, options range from the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 to the RTX 5090. Cooling is handled by the ROG Intelligent Cooling system and 2nd-generation Arc Flow fans. The maximum RAM capacity is up to 64 GB.
Both models are equipped with ROG Nebula OLED displays featuring G-SYNC support, a 0.2 ms response time, and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage. However, aside from the screen size, there is a slight difference: the G14 offers a 3K resolution with a 120 Hz refresh rate, while the G16 offers a 2.5K resolution with a 240 Hz refresh rate.
The price and availability of the new models in Ukraine are currently unknown.
