At CES 2025, Razer announced Project AVA – a gaming assistant that uses artificial intelligence to provide players with advice, analytics, and computer settings optimization to improve their gaming performance.
Project AVA will be able to train players in real-time, offering recommendations for their current objective in the game. Razer has used data from leading professional coaches and players to develop this feature.
After a game, the assistant will provide detailed analytics and a performance evaluation. Each session will conclude with a match summary, highlighting key moments and areas for improvement.
Additionally, Razer mentions that AVA will offer personalized advice for progressing through games. If a player gets stuck on a puzzle, boss, or mission, the AI will help suggest the next steps. All of this can be done without the need to open additional browser tabs.
Another useful feature is computer settings optimization. According to Razer, AVA will analyze and fine-tune the PC based on its specifications and the desired game performance. This should help increase FPS, reduce load times, and maximize graphics in games. Furthermore, the assistant will check for hardware, software, and firmware updates.
Players will be able to interact with the assistant through a convenient interface, which will appear as a compact chat window on top of the game. Additionally, AVA will be able to chat during gameplay or during breaks between sessions.
Razer's products and services often remain conceptual, so it's unclear whether Project AVA will be released. The company is still refining the system and conducting testing, with no release date announced yet.
