At CES 2025, UGREEN unveiled a new charger— the Nexode Desktop Charger 500W, as reported by The Verge.
The device has a maximum output power of 500W, dimensions of 14.61 × 6.07 × 11.46 cm, and weighs 1.80 kg. It is equipped with five USB-C ports and one USB-A port. The first USB-C port (C1) supports fast charging via the PD 3.1 protocol and provides a maximum output power of up to 240W. The other USB-C ports offer up to 100W, while the USB-A port provides up to 22.5W.
With the Nexode Desktop Charger 500W, you can connect up to three devices simultaneously. However, when more devices are connected, the power on each port will decrease. The power on port C1 will always remain at 240W, regardless of the number of connected devices. The company notes that this charger can simultaneously fast charge up to five laptops, providing no less than 65W per port.
The Nexode Desktop Charger 500W is compatible with various devices, including smartphones, laptops, tablets, headphones, and more. It is also suitable for more power-hungry products, such as the Nintendo Switch and even electric bikes.
Unfortunately, the price of the UGREEN Nexode Desktop Charger 500W is not yet available. However, it is known that the new product will be released in the spring.
