LG and Samsung will release new television lines featuring an assistant based on Microsoft’s Copilot artificial intelligence, as reported by The Verge.

LG will introduce a new AI section in their televisions and present an updated AI Remote control. The company describes Copilot as a way to “efficiently find and organize complex information with contextual hints.”

LG has also showcased its own AI chatbot, which will be available on the new televisions. It seems that Copilot will appear when LG TV users wish to find more information on a specific topic.

Samsung has also released its own set of AI features, Vision AI, for their televisions. It includes upscaling, automatic HDR remastering, and Adaptive Sound Pro.

Additionally, a new AI button will be added to the remote control for accessing features like food recognition on the screen or AI-based home security functions that analyze video feeds from smart cameras.

"In collaboration with Microsoft, Samsung has announced the release of new smart TVs and smart monitors with Microsoft Copilot support," the company writes. "This partnership will allow users to explore a wide range of Copilot services, including personalized content recommendations."
