Lutron аnnounces New Caséta Smart Shades with Apple HomeKit, Google Home, and Alexa Integration
The new smart shades can be controlled using schedules, wall switches, remote controls, the Lutron app, or voice commands.
The new shades can be synchronized with Caséta smart lights and switches, allowing simultaneous control of natural and artificial lighting in a room. They are available in two design options—roller and cellular—and come in white or gray colors.
Standard-sized shades, up to 48 inches (~122 cm) wide and 80 inches (~203 cm) tall, are priced at a fixed $399. Custom sizes are also available, with widths up to 96 inches (~244 cm) and heights up to 104 inches (~264 cm) for an additional cost. A full blackout option is also offered for an extra $30.
